Athletics

In addition to St. Rose's regular Physical Education program, we belong to the North Bay Catholic Schools League. The NB CSL offers a variety of options for students and families to get involved in team and individual sports.

Our main focus is on instilling strong Christian values and good sportsmanship in our students while helping them develop and strengthen their skills. Through play, they not only learn the game but also prepare for high school athletics—all while having fun representing their school!

Volleyball

Volleyball

Volleyball

St. Rose Volleyball teams are formed in grades five through eight grades, boys and girls teams. These teams are coordinated by our Athletic Director and coached by parent volunteers. The link to register will be posted in our weekly newsletter.

  • Boys – One combined team – 5th/6th & 7th/8th Grades
  • Girls - one team per grade 5th - 8th

Basketball

All students have the opportunity play on their school team without having to try out. Though our league is built on participation, our goal is to be competitive and challenging for all levels of play. These teams are coordinated by our Athletic Director and coached by parent volunteers.  The link to register will be posted in our weekly newsletter.

NB CSL Annual Track & Field Day

ncsl

All students in grades K-8 have the opportunity to participate in the NB CSL Track & Field Day, where over 800 athletes participate, representing 13 NB CSL Member schools.  Registration begins in early March and practices are held in April/May to prepare our athletes for this fun single-day event.

Coaching

St. Rose is always looking for qualified candidates to our teams.  Parent volunteers with basketball, volleyball, or track & field knowledge who would like to give back by volunteering to coach one of our athletic teams should contact our school athletic director, Heather Carinalli, at: h_carinalli@strosecatholicschool.org or leave a message for her in the school office.
