STUDENT LEARNING EXPECTATIONS (SLE’s)
St. Rose Catholic School Students are people of faith:
- Who respect themselves and all of God’s creation.
- Who seeks to learn about the Church’s teachings and scripture.
- Who shows love, empathy, and forgiveness through kindness and service to others.
- Who actively participates in prayer, Mass, and other liturgical activities.
St. Rose Catholic School Students are effective communicators:
- Who practice reading critically and seek evidence to support their understanding of text.
- Who practices and seeks new skills in speaking and writing.
- Who listens, interacts, and collaborates with others respectfully and successfully.
St. Rose Catholic School Students are independent thinkers and problem solvers:
- Who apply their math skills and strategies to real life situations.
- Who uses information from a variety of sources to solve problems.
- Who observes and experiments to discover new solutions.
- Who considers Catholic social justice themes and try to make a positive difference in the world.

- Who participates in a wide variety of physical activities to develop their physical health and knowledge.
