Safe Environment
The Diocese of Santa Rosa has a very strict policy regarding all employees and volunteers who have regular contact with the students. These employees and volunteers must be fingerprinted by Live Scan under the Diocese of Santa Rosa and complete the safe environment training developed by the Diocese. All employees have met these criteria.
To be eligible to volunteer at St. Rose School and Preschool:
- Complete the registration and the online training at: www.CMGconnect.org All volunteers must take the following course: ‘A Safe Haven; It’s Up to You’. The course takes approximately an hour to complete. (On-line training must be renewed by all every 2-3 years.) In addition, all those who wish to drive on a class field trip should complete the Safe Driver course, also on line. Each of these courses count as an hour toward your Service Hour requirement.
- Complete the Live Scan fingerprinting process. (This is normally a one and done process – once you’ve completed the Live Scan background check, you should not be asked to repeat it) Click HERE to print the school Live Scan form that you must take to get your prints done. Upon completion of Live Scan, please bring a copy of the form to the school office.
