Athletics

In addition to St. Rose’s regular Physical Education program, we are a member of the North Bay Catholic Schools League. The league offers a variety of athletic programs for students and families to have the option to get involved in team sports in several different ways.  Our primary emphasis is to teach the children to display good Christian values and sportsmanship during play, to build and strengthen their skills and to improve their game, as they learn to play the game, as we prepare them for high school athletics. All while having fun representing their school!

Basketball

All students have the opportunity play on their school team without having to ‘tryout’. Though our league is built on participation, our goal is to be competitive and challenging for all levels of play. These teams are coordinated by our Athletic Director and coached by parent volunteers.  Signups go home via the Wednesday Envelope in August

Grades K-8th may register to represent St. Rose School in the annual NB CSL Track & Field Day. coaching

St. Rose is always looking for qualified candidates with basketball / volleyball / track & field knowledge who would like to give back by volunteering to coach one of our athletic teams.  Anyone interested should contact our school athletic director, KC. Paul at:  kc_q@yahoo.com, or leave a message for her in the school office.
